Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to Amberfall ("the Game"), made by ronikwow ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Your license

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Game on your devices for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the Game or its content, except where the law expressly allows it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

2. Virtual items and currencies

The Game contains virtual currencies and items such as Amber, Dark Crystals, Forge Tokens, Transcendence Tokens, cards and card levels ("Virtual Items").

• Virtual Items are part of the Game's content. You get a limited license to use them in the Game; you do not own them and they are not your property.
• Virtual Items have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged or redeemed for real money, goods or anything of value, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the Game or to other players.
• Virtual Items are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise (for example your statutory refund rights for purchases made through Google Play).
• We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items (for example prices, drop chances or card stats) to improve the Game.
• Your progress is stored on our game server with an anonymous online account whose key is kept on your device. If you reset your progress, delete your online account, or lose that key (for example by uninstalling the Game without a device backup), your Virtual Items cannot be restored. Ancient Scrolls can be restored from Google Play with Restore Purchases.
• Rewards are granted only by our server. Using cheats, modified clients or fake purchases does not grant items and may lead to loss of access to online features.

3. Purchases and random rewards

The Game offers optional purchases for real money (Dark Crystals and Ancient Scrolls), processed by Google Play. The price is shown before you confirm a purchase.

• Enchanted Boulders, bought with Dark Crystals, give a random reward. The exact chance of every possible reward is shown in the Shop (DROP CHANCES) before you open a boulder.
• Ancient Scrolls are permanent: they stay with you after a progress reset and can be restored on another device with the same Google account (Shop > Restore Purchases).
• Refunds are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy and applicable law.
• Ancient Powers give a small advantage in battle; we may rebalance them to keep the Game fair.

4. Rewarded ads

The Game may offer optional rewarded ads. Rewards are granted only for ads watched to the end. Faking ad views or otherwise abusing ad rewards is not allowed.

5. Online play and conduct

When you play online you agree not to:

• use cheats, bots, modified clients, exploits or any software that interferes with the Game or its server;
• choose a player name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else or contains personal information;
• harass other players or deliberately ruin matches.

Offensive player names may be replaced automatically. We may restrict access to online features for anyone who breaks these rules. You can block or report a player from the online duel result screen.

6. Availability

The Game and its online features are provided "as is" and "as available". The game server may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Game at any time.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about the Game and are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of Virtual Items arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. These Terms end automatically if you break them. Sections 2, 3, 7 and 9 remain in force after termination.

9. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is based, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these Terms; the new version will be shown in the Game, and continuing to play means you accept it.
